In the Style x Sarah Ashcroft

I'm so excited about this post because I remember being in work at lunch a couple of years ago and one of my friends showing me Sarah Ashcroft's Instagram page. I instantly loved her style and I've been following her ever since. I knew quite a bit about blogging back then, having had my own makeup and fashion blog back in 2013 which was very low budget/low quality, but I'd never come across a UK fashion blogger with such a huge following.

Fast forward to now and she's had multiple ranges with In The Style and they are always a huge hit! There are so many gorgeous dresses and co-ords to chose from. I picked out this pink shirt dress from the collection because right now if it's pink, it's for me. There was also a blue version which I am definitely going to snap up aswell. I'm loving the pinstripe detail which gives it a smarter feel than just a plain oversized shirt and it's a really nice length. I always find shirt dresses are either way too short or too long but this is just perfect for day or night!

I definitely love shirt dresses for dinners out as they are so easy to wear and comfortable. I've paired this dress with my Public Desire sock boots and my Aldo tote bag and a thin black H&M belt to cinch me in a bit.

Definitely check out Sarah's collection on In The Style if you haven't already, right now there is 20% off everything! Thanks for reading x

Outfit of the Day & Krispy Kreme

Hello All!
This has got to be my favourite shoot to date! Feeling a little more blogger-esque in finding this colourful wall as a background instead of standing in my living room trying to snap a couple of keepers before running out the door. I'm still finding it super awkward trying to get good pictures while we are out but I think it's something I'm just going to have to embrace otherwise it will be balcony pics forever!
Today me and Andy headed down the coast, stopping off first for some Krispy Kremes to keep us going and I ended up wanting to use one as a prop, it didn't last long!
I've put together this grey Pretty Little Thing oversized T shirt with these pink Zara trousers which I love. I love how versatile these are, you could easily style them up with a white bodysuit and some heels for a dressier look. I managed to find these in amongst the chaos that was the Zara sale for I think about £15.
Everyone seems to be loving the Pretty Little Thing T shirts and this one is no different. I really like the oversized style with the longer sleeves and they are great quality for the price, they are my every day go-to at the moment. I especially love a grey and pink combo even if it does look like pyjamas! Obviously threw on my sliders with this again, I'll maybe put them away after Halloween.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and thanks for reading!

OOTN : Frills and Flares

Hello All!
I can't believe it's Sunday night already, where has this weekend gone?!
For dinner tonight I dug out my favourite flared trousers from Pretty Little Thing. I know a lot of people have trouble with the length of PLT trousers but as I'm 5'6 it hasn't been an issue for me as long as I'm wearing heels.
I absolutely love these trousers because they are so comfortable and soft and stretchy, great for a food baby! I love the mustard stripe down the side that adds an extra pop of colour. Mustard is definitely more pushing towards Autumn colours but I matched them with this summery little bardot crop which is also from PLT. I'm loving these frilly bardots at the minute, I think they are so feminine and cute and go with so many summery outfits. I got this one in a few colours mainly because of the bow sleeves which I love. The top is also super stretchy and comfortable and the ribbed material is always flattering!
I just chucked on my nude Primark heels and was ready to go! Thanks for reading!

Outfit of the Day: Pink and Velvet

Hello everyone!
It's been a couple of weeks since I've been able to do an outfit post and I wanted to share what I threw together this morning. It is still super hot and I'm praying it doesn't stop anytime soon, I am sitting outside every moment possible lapping up this sun!
I don't know about anyone else but the Zara sale going on right now is really doing damage to my bank account. I think I've been on the site every day in the last week! My mum came over to visit this week and we headed out into town for a bit of lunch and shopping and I picked up this beaut little cropped pink T from Zara in Buchanan Street for £5.99! It's so soft and stretchy and I'm obsessed with the ribbed material. I am definitely going through a pink phase at the moment, it's literally all I'm buying (all black 16 year old me is wincing right now)!
I bought this skirt from Missguided a few months ago for a wedding and haven't looked at it since, but saw it today and just loved the navy with the pink together. I absolutely love this combo, who would have thought a velvet split leg skirt could look so casual? I love assymetrical skirts as I find they are the most flattering on me and the scrunched side detail really hugs my waist in.
I grabbed my favourite pink fluffy cross-body bag to match with the top, threw on my trusty Adidas sliders because they are literally all I wear at the moment and finally my leopard print sunglasses from New Look.
I hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for reading!

Summer Essentials

Hello All!
I hope everyone is enjoying this weather as much as I am. It's rare in Scotland to get a spell of great weather to last this long so today I wanted to talk about my top summer essentials. We aren't always prepared up here for a heatwave and I've put together some of my favourite products and items that I cannot go without!

Sliders
First off is a good pair of sliders. Mine are Adidas and I picked these up for £30 in Office. They are so comfortable to wear and go with just about every outfit. Definitely an essential in this heat, avoid socks at all cost! You can get them HERE!

Sunglasses
I find it really hard to get a pair of sunnies that I love. I always go for the biggest ones I can see as they suit my face the best! I found the perfect pair in New Look for only £8.99, big thick square frames with a dark leopard print pattern. They go with everything and I have been wearing them pretty much every day since I got them! Sunnies HERE

Bondi Sands Self Tan Eraser
I started using Bondi Sands Tan Eraser around Christmas time but now that I'm wearing fake tan pretty much all the time this is a must have (I'm very jealous of all you gals who are turning brown naturally in the sun but I've accepted that it ain't ever gonna happen for me)! I could spend an age in the bath scrubbing my poor skin getting off every last patch of Fake Bake but this product has been a huge game changer! Once my tan is ready to come off I just lather up my whole body, wait about 10 minutes and then wipe away the tan with a flanel in a bath! It is quite pricey at £14.99 a bottle but I will repurchase this every time it runs out as I really couldn't go without it now! GET IT ON SALE HERE

Skin Kissed Vitamin C Serum
I recently got sent this product to test out and I am loving it. I have been using this serum morning and night and it has made my skin so much healthier looking. It feels firmer and more hydrated and gives me a nice glow during the day. I have been using it as a primer for my make up as I never really like applying moisturiser before foundation as my skin can be combination/oily especially in the heat. This stuff just gives a gorgeous feeling smooth base and doesn't make your make up slide about during the day. Pick one up for yourself HERE

Benefit Dew The Hoola Bronzer
This is my favourite bronzer for summer. It gives the same colour as the OG Hoola that everyone loves but as this is a liquid it gives a gorgeous natural glow at the same time. If it's a super hot day you can just apply some of this with a beauty blender and it will give you that beaut tanned glow like you've been at the beach all day! I've been using this for a couple of years now and it always comes out in the summer and never disappoints. You can get this at any Benefit counter or online HERE

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
Saving the best till last, this is my most important summer essential. I drench my face in this stuff in the morning. I spray some on my face before applying makeup, sometimes I use it to dampen my beauty blender, and of course will spray after makeup to make sure it stays all day! In this heat if you have to wear a full face you can avoid it budging at all with this stuff! I always get asked what foundation I use and I always say it's this stuff making it last the full day. It smells fresh as well which is always a bonus, pick one up HERE, you won't regret it!

Thank you for reading this post, let me know what products you can't go without in summer!
