OOTN: Surprises and Jumpsuits

Hello all!
This Friday we headed out to a surprise birthday garden party for our friend Ross' 30th. I still can't get over the look on his face, totally worth ignoring him in work all day so I didn't let it slip.
I've bought so many summery dresses recently and I knew I would need something a bit warmer as you just never know what the weather is going to do up here in Scotland! So I managed to pick up this washed out pink boiler style jumpsuit from Asos that I thought would be perfect and would keep me relatively warm. I am always worried about jumpsuits being too short in the torso as I am quite tall and experience has told me to always size up when buying online! However this definitely seems to run true to size so if I had time to exchange it for the smaller size I think I would have as it's a very relaxed fit. In saying that the belt tie really helps to cinch you in and you can go as tight or loose as you like.
I kept this look pretty simple and just threw on some nude court heels and that was me ready to go! Thanks for reading!

OOTN: 24

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to meeee!
Starting to get on a bit now, eh? 24! I'm not 18 and care-free any more. I think about car insurance and council tax and add cleaning supplies to my shopping list! For my birthday I asked my dad for a fancy set of cutlery from Next! I'm not even joking, I can't wait to use it. It's scary how many people I see from school getting married and having kids. I'm feeling absolutely no pressure to follow suit, I just phoned the dentist by myself the other day and I'm still getting over that. I am perfectly content right now with Andy and our cute little home that we've made with all our pets. And I am excited for 24!

Anyway back to the point of this blog post; for my birthday night Andy took me out for a lovely meal. I kept with very neutral tones with this baby pink dress from Pretty Little Thing. The plunge neckline, the skater style, the layered frills, it is the girliest dress I own and I love it! I paired it with these nude court heels from Primark which are the comfiest heels in the world. I also found this furry pink clutch bag in New Look and it matches so well you might not even see it! Threw on some New Look rose gold earrings and the outfit was complete! Thank you for reading!

OOTN: Bum Bags at Demi Lovato

Hello everyone!
Just a quick 'outfit of the night' post today. Andy had bought me tickets for my birthday to see my fave Demi Lovato and after much anticipation and fear of cancellation due to her not being well the days before, we headed out to the SSE Hydro to see her perform. (FYI she was SENSATIONAL)
I honestly cannot tell you enough how happy I am that belt bags (bumbags) are in fashion again. There is nothing worse than constantly having to feel under your seat to make sure your bag is still there and nothing has fell out of it etc. No issues with the belt bag at all, loved it, 10/10 for convenience. I love the chunky gold zip on this thast gives it a more dressed up look.
I paired my Pretty Little Thing camo print cargo trousers with a cropped black 'online offline' jumper from H&M. I was, at one point, matching with Demi's back up dancers and all I'm saying is, Demi, I'm free if you need a stand in! I love these cargo style trousers right now and would advise you to size down on them if buying from Pretty Little Thing as they are super baggy. Lastly added my Public Desire black sock boots to dress up the ensemble a bit and we were ready to go! Thanks for reading!

OOTN: Hen Do with The Dreamboys

*Coming to you from the couch covered in crisps and lucazade*
This weekend brought a much anticipated Hen Do and far too much alcohol consumed! Boogie Bussing our way to an overnight in Edinburgh starting in The Three Sisters for cocktail making and karaoke and ending in The Atik for some drag and 'The Dreamboys'.
I found this dress last week while scrolling through Pretty Little Thing, as I am about 90% of the time. I love the wrap style of this dress because it's so easy to wear and you won't be constantly adjusting. The cobalt blue is quite a bold choice for me but I just loved the brightness of it and the little pops of red and green.
I've paired it with these beige sandal wedges which never actually made it out, when you're walking around the hilly streets of Edinburgh I'm afraid flip flops are the only way forward. Finally I added my current favourite clutch from Aldo that my mamma sent over from Dublin. The navy blue stripes along with the deep red tassel matched perfectly with the whole ensemble, however if you're planning on going out with more than some cash, your ID and a lipstick then this bag is not going to work out for you as its very small inside! Unfortunately this bag is no longer available but Aldo is one of my favourites for finding unique bags/shoes and accessories so definitely have a browse of their site.
Thanks for reading this post, I'm now returning to my onion rings and space raiders.

Pass The Coffee: DIY Home Coffee Cart

Hi everyone!

Something a bit different today, apart from fashion/makeup nothing gets my creative juices flowing like a bit of home decor. I couldn't count the hours spent scrolling through Pinterest looking for cute ideas when myself and Andy moved in together last year (can't believe it's been over a year, time flies when your having fun and 7 coffees a day!).
So this coffee cart is one of my favourite little quirks of our flat. There's nothing better than waking up on a Saturday or Sunday morning and making yourself a nice mocha latte (with marshmallows), or better yet getting your butler SO to bring it to you in bed.
You don't need to break the bank for this little feature. You can personalise to suit yourself, I've added coffee pods, instant coffee, hot chocolate, mini marshmallows, white sugar, brown sugar, tea bags and a special brew of Galway Cupan Tea's 'Oompa Loompa' tea leaves. I've also added a few books with bright covers, purely for aesthetics, they may never get finished. The chalk labels are another unnecessary but very Pinterest friendly addition. I hope this post gives you a little home inspo, thanks for reading and send me links to your blogs if you are also into these little DIY home features!

Polka Dots and Monochrome

Hello all!
I managed to snap up this monochrome polka dot Zara dress last week and am really enjoying the material and fit of it. It's super light and easy to wear with heels/sandals or trainers for a more casual feel. It's the perfect length and I love the short ruffled sleeves and hem.
I've paired it with these gleaming white Public Desire boots for a dressier feel and this Primark black clutch to keep in with the black and white theme! Thanks for reading guys and thank you for all the lovely messages since starting up this blog!
